Browsing Live Music Archive: Steps Backward? |
First, thank you for the service you provide; I greatly appreciate it. I'm really curious why the format to locate shows has changed. With the old, shows were arranged by year and easy to find; the process was logical and made sense. With the new, you must sort shows by date and guess what page the date of your desired show falls on; this seems illogical. Is this new way really better? Maybe I just haven't figured out how to use it and if so, please enlighten me how I can use it.
I would implore you to go back to the old way of finding shows. Please, I beg you!
With all due respect, what were you thinking? The new way is not easier but more confusing, more illogical, and just silly. You went from a gas powered mobile back to a horse and buggy.

Feel free to use that link while it still works, however you should note that it will eventually stop working, and in the mean time, it isn't updated with new shows.
We're working to make things better for everyone. Keep in mind that for every person who is disapointed with the new system, we hear from several who are happy with the change. It's a matter of adjustment. Still, your comments are heard and recorded, and we'll get it to a point where you, and as many others as possible, are happy :)

The move was mandatory for the LMA to continue. there are many posts explaining in details why it happened and what the future holds. Your opinion is not unique. Hold tight and let the dust settle and in the meantime learn to use the current system, as it is what we have for the foreseable future.
